Hi, My mom has a 1 year old shih tzu named Sookee. She is VERY energetic and we love her very much. We give her a bath regularly, but have never cut her hair because we want it long like a show dog. My family and I went on vacation so Sookee didn't get her regular brushing for a week. What is the best/safety way to extract mats that are under the eyes. As you may know Shih tzu eye can be easily injured. The de-matter tool seems way too harsh to use under the eyes and the eyelids are pulled and can stretch out easily which is scary and probably not comfortable for Sookee. Advice please! Thank you!

If you have to, you might have to keep him locked in a separate room whenever you're gone. If he keeps doing it, even with all the distractions you might try, in the end it might be simpler to contact a professional trainer. Either way it goes, good luck. Puppies are very hard work!

Hi I have a minor under the age of 7 that I have legal guardianship over. Someone on Facebook has posted pictures of my child without my consent. I asked them to take the pictures down and they refused. I then filled out Facebook's form to have them removed. Facebook had the pictures removed. Then the individual reposted the pictures and deleted me from their friends list. The problem is that in order to fill out the form on Facebook to have the pictures removed again I have to have the exact URL for the pictures that I want removed. I cannot get the URL of the pictures as the person has deleted me from their friends list. Nor do I know any on their friends list that could tell me it. Yet, I know that the pictures are still there. This is very frustrating. What can I do to get these pictures removed for good? Any help would be great.

I would find out if your dog has worms. My son had a Basset Hound and when we moved we had him outside in the yard when we worked and he began to eat his own poop. After he died (not from that) I read it could be a sign that they have worms.

Why is my dog's nose peeling and hard?

His nose is black, and it started to peel and some of it is now pink. He's healthy, and goes to the vet regularly. He's 5 years old. He's a shih tzu labradoodle. It's also hard, but when yuo touch the pink spot, it doesn't seem to hurt him... He got all the shots he needs. His brother's nose isn't doing this. Is there anything I should do?? I purchased a BEAUTIFUL shih-tzu from a local breeder. He is healthy and very smart. I checked out where the pups where kept and the condition of her other pets. She owned 2 cats, and three dogs. All seemed to be clean, healthy and very well socialized. This was NOT a puppy mill. She was very responsible and even gave me her personal contact information if a problem did occur. Her pups were Continental Kennel Club registered, and I could not be happier with my little dog. He is a joy. He has aced all vet checks, and his temperment is wonderful. So... why does everyone focus on the AKC? I checked the BBB and the AKC had way more complaints than CKC.

Help! Im stuck in the age gap of employment!?

I'm currently stuck in the worst month for employment of my life. I'm one month away from my 18th birthday, and in desperate need of money. And I mean desperate. I have tuition payments, car insurance payments, need gas money, etc. and I can't seem to find a job! I have put it over 30 applications so far and have only been called about one and I was rejected because of my age. The child labor laws in my state have made it close to impossible for minors to get a job because the individual place of business has to have a permit to hire minors, instead of the minor obtaining the permit, and that permit costs the company money, which puts the company off from hiring minors. Bad idea in my book.. I'm just stuck in a rut and can't find anything at the moment.. I have even lied about my age on online applications to get a job, and nothing.. A color band has gone missing from one of my brackets? ORTHODONTISTS PLEASE HELP!?

Okay so, i've been having problems with a powerchain that used to be on my bottom teeth, it kept ripping and the orthodontist said it's due to the way my brackets are manufactured and blah blah blah, so i got just the single colors on individual brackets on the bottom. but now on one of my back teeth, i noticed that i am missing one of those bands. the bracket is perfectly fine, the wire is still running through.. but the color that was wrapped around it is gone. is this a big deal? my next appointment is august 2nd and i really don't understand what the color band is there for anyways? please explain if this is effecting my treatment and what i should do? thank you so much for reading my story. not to sound ignorant, but are these colors just for decoration? my bracket is perfectly fine, it's weird lol!

Can Kumon be individualized? PLEASE HELP?!?

My parents and I agreed that I should find an extra program to help in more advanced/critical comprehension and inferences in READING. But from what I've heard, it sounds like Kumon isn't something that can be individualized to fit needs. Is that true? I have 2 dogs, the oldest (1y 6m) is half shih tzu half lhasa apso and the youngest (4m) is a mini pinscher. My roommate had company a few weeks ago stay here while the roommate was out of town, this person was only here about 3 days, but a week later when I went to change the roommates bedding I noticed there were pubic lice "Crabs" on the sheets.. My shih tzu dog, almost 2 years old has swallowed a plum pit whole, that is about one inch long and 2/3 inch wide. My dog is about 8-9 lbs and she has been vomiting a few times, but has stopped. She seems pretty normal except a bit tired and she did go poo, but there was no sign of a plum pit. I am very worried because she is a small dog and I am afraid if it will get lodged in her intestines. If you ever want to take your dog to a groomer, reputable pet sitter, or kennel, you will have to have the shot records. Some hotels and apartments that allow pets require shot records also. I once got a dog who I was told had shots but there was no proof and my vet said it's best to give shots in case the people were lying, because unfortunately a lot of people do lie about that. I would go with whatever your vet suggests.

I am sorry that your Shih tzu has ear problems. While your groomer might be able to remove the ear gunk for you, it would just come back again if you don't take care of the underlying problem. I'm also sorry to tell you that there are no vets here on Yahoo! Answers. Your dog does need to see a vet, and SOON. Ear infections are very painful for the dog and require prescription medications to clear up.

Well I am a girl and my name is Stacey spelled just like that. Finding my baby daddy has been quite an adventure. Let me start off by saying that I can be categorized as a free spirited woman not bound the idiocracy of monogamy. Everyday is a fabulous journey and adventure into the world of drug induced confidence. So when I conceived my darling daughter, it came as somewhat of a surprise to say the least. I was exercising my right to have polyamorous relationships at the time which posed the biggest question of all. Who was my baby daddy? Throughout my entire pregnancy, I had had one man fully convinced that he had fathered my child. I so longed for him to be the father because he was tall, handsome responsible, etc. The only problem was, he was white. Not just any kind of white. He was pale skinned, blue eyed, and blond hair; the works! He put me up in his apartment while he went to work during the day as an accountant. We even set up a nursery. When, my baby came out half black, I told him the color came from my side of the family even though I am also a blonde hair blue eyed individual. For a while he believed me, until her hair started kinking up and her skin began brown more and more. One day when I came home, I found that both my daughter and I had been locked out, for good. I went to my mother's house with a determination to find the baby daddy. There were about 5 other possibilities because she was half black. So, I could immediately rule out the one Asian, and two Hispanic guys. I immediately got to work. I tracked down two guys on facebook. They basically called me out for being slut and really hurt my feelings. I had given up, when one day I got a call from Earl. He said he felt connected to me and he didn't know why. When i revealed the news of his potential daughter, he wept. I couldn't console him over the phone, so I asked that he come over to visit me. I greeted him at the door with only a coat on. When he sat down and cried on the couch, I slowly lowered the coat. My naked body shown to him, one thing led to another....We made passionate love as I wiped away his tears of joy. We did end up getting the DNA test later on that week. He paid for everything and had fully stocked up my daughter on all the necessities. We found out, that he was not the father. Im 15 nearly 16 and I have cats. My parents would prefer a smaller breed of dog and i'd like one that isnt too hard or stubborn when it comes to training. I'd be at home for the next 8 weeks (cause i've finished exams and its summer) then i go into sixth form so a dog that could cope being alone for a couple of hours or would just sleep when left alone would be good. Yes, adopting a dog is a kind act and the person who adopts it shouldn't have to pay, but if that dog has been taken care of which costs money, they will charge you for it. That's just the way things are. That fee to adopt is to keep the shelter running by the way. If you get a free puppy, you'll probably spend more on the torn up furniture/extra vaccinations than you would have if you had bought a puppy. Free puppies have either not been taken care of or are a problem that the owner wants to get rid of. Do yourself a favor and pay for your dog. If you're not willing to pay the money to get one in the first place, you'll probably regret getting one.

u gotta practice your scales and arpeggios. the reason ur having trouble playing fast is because your left and rite hands are not in sync with eachother. once thats taken care of, it really just becomes a matter of getting comfortable with what your trying to play. because unless theres a physically taxing quality to it, like a very wide stretch for instance...it just boils down to picking the same way you did to play those scales. and the scales are the simplest way to address that problem.

She is eating and drinking and pees and poops just like any other dog. She also still humps my arm. Shih tzu....how often do you get you dog groomed?

I have a shih tzu. When I first got her we got her a puppy cut just a trim to get her use to it and they cleaned her ears and did her nails they. Then. About 2 months ago a little longer then that. she got a hair hair cut the whole works. Well she is starting to look a mess again her face has grown up so much. Her eyes are hid in the hair a lot . Crate training does wonders. I'm owned by two chihuahua's who are almost 1 yr and two more who are 9 weeks. I followed a strict schedule for taking my older two outside and they finally picked it up. I tried to use the potty pads and they were more trouble then they were worth.

Potty training a 5 year old dog?

I have a shih tzu about 5 years old and I love him alot. I take full responsibility for not properly training him in the past. I have been clicker training and have been training more often and he is great! I feel bad that I hadn't made an effort like this in the past but now that I am ready to fully train him I was hoping to get tips on how to break him of his bad habits. He tends to pee in the same spot behind a big leather chair on the carpet. He goes potty inside pretty often and I'm ready for him to start going outside.
