Not a horrible price, cost of care varies a lot depending on where you live and cost of living in that location. You can expect 2 weeks of restrictions including, no running, jumping, or stairs, on leash for bathroom breaks and then right back in. Monitor incision for signs of irritation/infection, make sure he doesn't lick the incision, if he does you will need to keep an elizabethan collar on him at all times so he doesn't open his incision. They should also dispense some pain medicine for him the first few days post-op.
