My puppy doest like being left alone?

I have a ten week old shih tzu and she doesnt like to be left alone. She'll just bark or whimper. Ive tried leaving the TV on, training vids from Youtube (like from kikopup, etc) and they dont work either. And just leaving her alone like they showed on a Dogs 101 special. Please help! My family gets really annoyed!
